Time to talk about the Theatre.
The word theatre comes from the Greeks. It means the seeing place. It is the place people come to see the truth about life and the social situation. The theatre is a spiritual and social X-ray of its time. The theatre was created to tell people the truth about life and the social situation. ~Stella Adler
The Theater has always occupied an important place in my life. I remember my first visit to this magnificent place. It was in 6th grade, my class and I went to a nearby town to see “The Government Inspector” by N.V. Gogol. I remember the feeling of excitement and thrilling anticipation of the start in the mysterious darkness of the theater hall. It was so amazing to enjoy the play on stage, which before you could only read! The characters, the plot, the atmosphere- everything come alive just in front of you, this experience can not be compared with watching films.
I’m very happy that thanks to Puskinskaya's card I have an opportunity to explore the theatres of Nizhny Novgorod. Two, which I liked the most lately- “La Dama Boba” by Lope de Vega and “Grönholm Method” by Jordi Galceran, which made me deliberate about the denouement of the play for a couple of days.
Look at these pictures which we made in the Nizhny Novgorod State Academic Drama Theater of Gorkiy. Isn’t it beautiful? I’m looking forward to a more detailed discussion of the world of Theater!
